County Engineering
The County Engineering
Department is a component of the Public Works Department. Jon Caime,
the Public Works Director is a Registered Professional Engineer
in the State of Georgia and also acts as the County Engineer. In
this capacity he primarily manages engineering and construction
subcontracts.
County Engineering reviews all subdivision road
design submittals and aids developers in the road approval and acceptance
process. County Engineering also determines solutions to common
road problems on existing County roads.
The
County Engineering Department is currently managing the following
projects:
1. Solutions to issues at the closed Hart County Landfill.
2. Design of Phase 1b of the Hart County Recreation Center
3. Design of Phase 1b of the I-85 Industrial Park
4. Construction of Phase 1a of the I-85 Industrial Park
