Chairman Oglesby called session to order at 8:30 p.m. following regular meeting.

In attendance were Commissioners Oglesby, Brown, Burdick, Dorsey and Banister. Also in attendance were Walter Gordon and Gary Cobb.

The subject of the meeting was the acquisition of property adjacent to the library, namely the Lewis property. Walter Gordon review the status. It was refused.

The discussion centered on whether the Board of Commissioners should proceed with condemnation or give Ms. Lewis time to consider the offer. It was decided to have Commissioner Dorsey speak to Ms. Lewis and encourage her to accept it with the understanding that the BOC, although the final vote had not been taken, were seriously discussing that the condemnation option. No other action would be planned until Commissioner Dorsey reported back to the board.
