The Hart County Board of Commissioners met September 11th, 2001 at the Hart County Administrative & Emergency Services Center.

 

Chairman Oglesby called the meeting to order at 4:45 p.m. Present were Commissioners Banister, Burdick and Oglesby. Also present were Gary Cobb, Bill Holland and two clerks from Mr. Holland's office.

 

Mr. Holland was recognized by the Chairman for the purposes of explaining his request to upgrade the four positions in his office. Mr. Holland asked the Board to raise the grade of his chief deputy from a 13 to a 16 and his deputy clerks from a 10 to a 13. His reasons were given. Commissioner Burdick and Banister asked Mr. Holland several questions about his request and stated how they saw the situation. Commissioner Burdick asked about the status of archiving the Clerk's records. Bill Holland gave the status. Gary Cobb asked whether the scanner used by Mr. Holland was available for use in his office by other county departments. He stated it was owned by the State and therefore was unavailable.

 

Motion by Commissioner Banister, second by Commissioner Burdick to adjourn. Vote 3-0; time 5:05 p.m.
