LAND IN UNINCORPORATED HART COUNTY

IMPORTANT: This guidance is provided only as assistance on some of the requirements of this ordinance. You are responsible for reading, comprehending and meeting all requirements of this ordinance. See County Code of Ordinances

WHAT COUNTY LAWS DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT?

1. Chapter 18 Hart County Code of Ordinances, “Buildings and Building Regulations”- is the County law for building or improving structures in Hart County
2. Chapter 34 Hart County Code of Ordinances, “Environment”- is the County law for disturbing land (moving soil) in Hart County.
3. Chapter 46 Hart County Code of Ordinances, “Land Development Standards”- is the County law for subdivision of land and for building subdivision roads in Hart County.
4. Chapter 50 Hart County Code of Ordinances, “Manufactured Homes and Trailers”
5. Chapter 66 Hart County Code of Ordinances, “Roads and Bridges”- is the County law for harvesting timber, naming of roads and houses, acceptance of roads for County Maintenance, and for installing utilities in existing County Right of Way.
